Designed and implemented a customer-facing REST API that exposes integrated external data sources in real time, with GDPR-compliant access control and request logging, extending the product portfolio and enabling new revenue streams.
Led the integration of new external data sources into the core platform and designed a customer-facing REST API that provides real-time access to enriched data. Collaborated with product and engineering teams to define API contracts and implement authentication, authorization, robust error handling, rate limiting, and comprehensive request logging to meet GDPR and auditability requirements. The solution extended the product offering, enabled customers to embed reliable external data directly into their workflows, and created a scalable, compliant foundation for future data products.
